Join us for a one-of-a-kind community build experience at Sno Hill Chapel, led by Star Hill Timberworks. This hands-on event invites participants of all skill levels to come together to build a beautiful 16' x 30' timber frame pergola—a lasting space for gathering, connection, and community.
Taking place over three days (May 29–31, 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM), you can attend one, two, or all three days. Whether you’re interested in working hands-on, observing, or simply being part of the experience, everyone is welcome—no prior experience needed.
Guided by experienced instructors, this build emphasizes traditional timber framing techniques in an open, approachable environment where learning happens through doing, watching, and asking questions. More than just a project, this is an opportunity to connect with others, learn a time-honored craft, and help create something meaningful that will serve the community for years to come.
Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere complete with food, music, and shared purpose as the pergola comes to life—culminating in a community “raising” on the final day.
Come build. Come learn. Come be part of something lasting.
