Monthly Member Meeting: What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) has been universally embraced as a means to manage risks and seize opportunities related to the achievement of your objectives. Traditional insurance only addresses the physical hazard risks – those you can write an insurance policy to address. However, there are many other more pressing risks such as business and strategic risks that you cannot write a policy to protect yourself from. These last two categories are often more likely to have an adverse impact on your organization than an uninsured hazard risk.
Andy Bertram, C.O. Brown Risk Advisor, will offer a deeper look at the different ways to handle these risks – avoid, retain, transfer and mitigate – and why it makes sense for your organization to start thinking about implementing an ERM program.
Lunch will be catered by River Valley Catering.
