Design Ellsworth 2.0 with Ben Winchester

The first in the Design Ellsworth 2.0 Speaker Series. Nationally recognized rural sociologist and speaker Ben Winchester brings data, insight, and energy to the conversation about the future of small towns. With work featured across the country, Ben is known for challenging outdated narratives of rural decline—and replacing them with surprising trends that point to resilience, renewal, and opportunity. Join us for an eye-opening, hopeful, and highly relevant conversation that will inspire fresh thinking about what’s next for Ellsworth.
Free and open to the public. No registration required. Learn more about the Design Ellsworth 2.0 Speaker Series here.

About Design Ellsworth:
In October 2018, members of the Ellsworth community came together for a weekend that would shape our future. A team of 17 planning and design professionals, supported by UW Extension’s Community Vitality & Placemaking program, joined local stakeholders for a three-day workshop to envision what Ellsworth could become. Find out what happened here.
