Try your luck at raffles\, partake in a game of hammer-shlagen\, and place your bids on the silent auction\, class projects\, fund-a-need and premier auction. A German buffet will be available from 6-8 pm. All are welcome!\n\nSt. Francis School opened its doors over seven decades ago as a non-profit\, private school. Kindness\, respect\, Catholic Christian values\, and academic excellence continue to be the cornerstones of a St. Francis School education 74 years later. Part of a proud rich history in Ellsworth\, 1\,500 alumni have passed through St. Francis' doors and have gone on to live vibrant\, successful lives.\n\n\n\nProceeds raised at the Gala will be used to help\, in partnership with the St. Francis parish\, to sustain the viability of the school. This year's goal is to raise $90\,000 to replace the flooring in the lower level of the building with commercial vinyl flooring ($26\,000)\, install heat pumps in the 2nd - 5th grade classrooms and school office to regulate the temperature ($12\,600)\, and repair and seal the school parking lot ($25\,000). In addition\, funding will grow the school's academic offerings by purchasing Spanish curriculum\, STEM/STEAM materials\, and engineering kits for the new STEM/STEAM lab.
