SUMMARY:March Member Meeting - Strong Schools = Strong Communities
DESCRIPTION:Our community is fortunate to have a public school system that continuously receives high marks from parents\, students\, and residents! However\, maintaining this kind of quality education takes funding.\n\n\n\nIn Wisconsin\, operational referendums have become a common way for districts to shore up gaps in funding. Our district's current operational referendum approved by voters in April of 2018 is about to expire. The district will be asking voters to reauthorize this funding through a new operational referendum question that will appear on the April 5\, 2022\, ballot. \n\n\n\nJoin us as Julie Lundstrom and Tim Conway\, from the Ellsworth Area Community School District share about the upcoming operational referendum question\, why this funding is critical to our district's budget\, and how current factors are making it possible for this referendum to have NO projected tax impact on residents! This will be a great opportunity to get your questions answered and learn about how quality schools impact you\, your family\, and our business community.\n\nPlease register by noon Wednesday\, March 23\, 2022\n\nRegister HERE\, (includes meeting and lunch)
